Building maintainable applications with Silverlight & WPF When you have conquered the basics of Silverlight and WPF and start to build applications with it, chances are you end up with a tightly coupled, interwoven mess that is difficult to develop and maintain; and impossible to test. To avoid that, you need to employ good design patterns in every layer that help you keep things loosely-coupled and testable. This session covers a lot of topics that will help you to keep your WPF or Silverlight applications maintainable. We’ll look at Dependency Injection, S.O.L.I.D., Prism, testability, MVVM, how to write clean code and how the new layer-diagrams can help.
