Certificering |
Er zijn verschillende mogelijkheden en niveaus beschikbaar binnen de nieuwe generatie Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 certificering. Wij beschrijven de .NET certificeringen voor Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) en Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) met bijbehorende studiemogelijkheden.
Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
De MCTS certificering biedt de mogelijkheid om je kennis en vaardigheden van een specifieke functionaliteit van Visual Studio 2010 te tonen. Je kunt meerdere MCTS certificeringen behalen en zo je kennis van de verschillende MS Visual Studio technologieën verbreden.
Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om de kennis te verdiepen en je MCTS status uit te bouwen naar een MCPD certificering. Of beide natuurlijk!

Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
De status van MCPD kun je behalen door het combineren van meerdere MCTS titels aangevuld met een extra MCPD examen.

Indien je al beschikt over een MCPD status voor Visual Studio 2008 (.NET 3.5) dan zijn er de volgende upgrademogelijkheden:
MCPD: Windows Developer 4

- MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Data Access
Upgrade examen 70-521:
Upgrade: Transition Your MCPD Windows Developer 3.5, or Enterprise Application Developer 3.5, Skills to MCPD Windows Developer 4
MCPD: Web Developer 4
Waaronder ook:
- MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications
- MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Service Communication Applications
- MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Data Access
Upgrade examen 70-523:
Upgrade: Transition Your MCPD ASP.NET Developer 3.5, or Enterprise Application Developer 3.5, Skills to MCPD Web Developer 4
Beschik je over een MCAD, MCSD of .NET 2 (Visual Studio 2005) certificering dan kun je alleen nog upgraden naar VS2008 en vandaar uit kun je weer verder naar de VS2010 certificering.
